Hi, I'm Madison.

I am a primarily natural light photographer located in the Hocking Hills area of Ohio. I also have family in Port Clinton, Ohio and travel there often. I am a wife, mother of two and share a home with a few four legged family members. Photography has evolved from my creative outlet to my part time job, which is a dream come true.

I started photography in 2015. I was gifted my first DSLR camera and decided I needed to learn to shoot in manual. While obtaining my Bachelor’s, I enrolled in an a 4 week online photography class. I watched a lot of YouTube, and practiced until I got it right. My style is mostly true to color, earthy but vibrant, emphasizing the natural colors captured without heavy editing. I love documentary style photography and prefer capturing moments over poses, although poses have a time and place. With AI taking over, I think it’s important to maintain integrity, capturing history with every click of the shutter.

My most booked sessions are couples and families, but I have special interest in couple sessions, engagement sessions, and adventure elopements. Being from the Hocking Hills area, I book elopements for Hocking Hills State Park and beyond. There is something significant about an intimate wedding day, whether that be a backyard wedding of your dreams, micro wedding at a smaller venue surrounded by your closest family and friends or an elopement without anyone else in attendance. I want to capture the important and small moments that you can look back and treasure. I want my clients to not only receive images that they will cherish for a lifetime, but also for the experience to be memorable and comfy without feeling posed and awkward. There is something about seeing God’s beauty in others from behind the lens.
